TEXT: Rom 7:1-11

The Holy Spirit is the third in trinity. You cannot say you have your family and push away the ministry of the Holy Spirit. One of the issues today is that we are not filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a person and not a thing. If you don’t possess the Holy Spirit, you tend to do things logically. The Holy Spirit is the revealer of secret. If you are a christian, you must have the embodiment of a christian and one of such is the ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is not just about falling, wailing or crying. The Holy Spirit is the most valuable asset. Act 1:8. Some of us know the Holy Spirit but not connected to the Holy Spirit.

  • RIGHTEOUSNESS: Righteousness exalts a nation. If you want to be exalted in life, you need to be righteous. There is difference between being good and right. Some things may be good but may not be right. Being righteous is doing the will of God. You can be righteous by law but cannot fulfill all the law. You don’t work for grace but you work for law. Learn to trend in the path of righteousness.
  • GRACE: Ephesians 2:8. Anytime you stop to try sinning by yourself, you die with trial and that is why you need grace. Accept Jesus by grace for he gave his life that you may be saved.

When you are filled with the Holy ghost, God will respect your word. We have the desires of the flesh (Gal 5:19-21) and that is why you need the Holy Spirit to overcome them. When the Holy Spirit is not filled in you, it is a disaster. Don’t be a powerless Christian. We should have an overflow of the Holy Spirit. If you are not born again, the Holy Spirit cannot work.
