Finding Myself (The death of Jesus as a case study) Part 3

by | Apr 14, 2019 | Sermon

PURPOSE

What makes a man happy is when he is fulfilling purpose. Jesus knew when he was supposed to die and was still happy because that was his purpose.

You should be careful not to be finished until it (the purpose) is finished, Jesus didn’t finish until his purpose was finished. There are several people that die without fulfilling God’s purpose for their lives so don’t go until you finish it. God will not respect you until you finish the assignment he gave to you. It is finished means paid in full and nothing is left.

JESUS SAID “IT IS FINISHED” MEANS

  • He had wiped off my death completely by shedding his blood on the cross of Calvary
  • He had fulfilled his own promise to God (Luke 19:10)

Affecting lives doesn’t take too long when you know what to do. Jesus wasn’t looking for fame but influence, he was after his assignment. Influence means impact. If you are a man of purpose, you have to face challenges to get there, you have to face the wind. You are not allowed to stop at the top, you have to keep moving. ARE YOU IN LINE OF FULFILLING DESTINY? God will never be happy with anyone not fulfilling destiny. Jesus entered the temple to clean it up, that is one of his purposes.

Jesus has the capacity to loose anyone tied to whom God has an assignment for. You are not meant to stay at a spot for too long, Jesus unties you, set you free and give you an assignment regardless of who ties you. Your believe system has a lot of things to do in your life. When Jesus incubate you, you become the best. (Hebrew 12:1) Nothing is as valuable as Jesus because he went into the grave and came out victorious.

When a man defines himself, the following happens:

  • his little efforts yield so much results;
  • he is not afraid of challenges and
  • he competes with nobody.

Remain blessed in Jesus’ name.
