TEXT:                     1 PETER 4 V 11 : 12, GENESIS 2:15, ROMANS 8:15, ACT 16:36

To serve means to render a kind of duty/service to God or man. As parents, we are the first mentors of our children. The gifts God has given you are your children. How well have you been able to manage your gifts? God has deposited diverse kinds of gifts into the life of our children; it is the responsibility of the parents to help nurture those gifts till maturity.

Serving God is to eternity and doesn’t have a definite time lag. If you are to serve God, you have to abstain from sin.  If you refuse to serve God, you will be a principal failure.

If you don’t serve God, you are nothing but a waste product of creation.

BENEFITS OF SERVING GOD

  3. Set apart from Others
  4. Protection from Evil

INSTRUMENTS FOR SERVING GOD

CONCLUSION:

God has deposited diverse kinds of gifts into everyone’s life, your responsibility is to identify these gifts and make use of them for the glory of God.
