by | Jun 16, 2019 | Sermon

  1. PREACHER: REV’D DR. WALE OYENIYI
    TOPIC: THE PRESENT FATHER
    TEXTS: PROVERBS 22:6, JOHN 11, GENESIS 3

LESSONS EXPLAINED
The devil searches and waits patiently for the absence of the fathers to evoke evil in the family. All fathers are to be present whenever their families are in need of them.
A responsible father will always be present and available to meet the needs of his family.

FATHERS RESPONSIBILITEIS AT HOME
PROVIDE FOR YOUR FAMILY 1Timothy 5:8, Proverbs 10v4:5; 12:11. God has created man to be a producer and not a consumer. Fathers are to work intelligently.

BE THE SPIRITUAL HEAD OF YOUR FAMILY Proverbs 22:8. It is the responsibility of all fathers to lead their families to Christ. Fathers are the pastors of their homes and must be spiritually active and sensitive.

BE SUPPORTIVE AND USEFUL IN THE HOUSE. Fathers are not only to be active and present at home but also in the house of God. As a father, if you miss the meeting, you will also miss the blessings.

BE PRESENT IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. To be present in the kingdom of God, you have to surrender your life to Jesus Christ and accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior.

PRAYER: You shall not be found wanting in the kingdom of God (Amen).
